This past Wednesday the Honey office hosted a beauty night with makeup artist and beauty expert Cynde Watson.  She let us in on some of her secrets — some of which were oh-so-obvious, but still sent me running home to clean my makeup brushes and *almost* made go running to the salon for eyelash extensions until I heard the price tag ($400+!!).  Other advice included some things I hadn’t thought about, but you can read the whole writeup about that over at Honey.

Cynde also showed a few of the makeup trends for spring on some of the girls.  That’s where I come in.  I got to photograph these fly ladies and I think it goes without saying (though I’m clearly saying it anyway) that they certainly look fresh faced and ready for a warmer, lighter season.

PS ~ As far as the products go, they are made with a mind for darker skin, but I couldn’t resist ripping open one of the swag bags and trying the stuff myself.  The dual ended amethyst/platinum eye pencil and one of dual lip colors somehow ended up at home in my makeup tray.  Apparently the stuff works on skin that hasn’t seen the sun in ages, too.
