Brooklyn Botanical Garden Believes in Sexy Pink Cherry Blossoms
I have been less than timely with my posts lately, but I’m over giving excuses. And do these cherry trees really look any less gorgeous just because they are done blooming? What I should have done was save these photos until January when everything is frigid and miserable. You know, just to tease.
Anyhow, after living in Williamsburg(ish) for almost two years, I decided it was time to see some Brooklyn tourist shiz. The best part of the Brooklyn Botanical Garden was definitely the cherry trees. To be honest I thought the rest of the gardens weren’t taken care of as well as I had expected. Giving them the benefit of the doubt it looked like they were undergoing some renovations when I visited. In that case I will hold off making any decisive opinions about the place. Maybe I’m just spoiled from the pristine Keukenhof Gardens in Holland (photos here, here, here and here).
