An old friend of mine, Ashley, got married last weekend and asked me to photograph the girls getting ready before walking down the isle.  It really was a privilege to see and photograph my friend transform into an exquisite bride.  I left out the fotos of her in her undies since apparently we’ve grown up and the proper thing to do is show her at her best (although she looked pretty good in her skivvies, too ).

Now I’ve kind of bombarded you here with a whole lotta fotos, but she looked so amazing and I’m just not clever enough a photographer to capture that essence in one image.  At any rate, I have a feeling you’ll want to keep looking at her anyway.

The bridesmaid dresses match her eyes perfectly.  Seriously, Cinderella can eat her heart out.

On another note, I suggested that we go out on the dock for a couple of pictures.  The weather was beautiful in terms of sun and temperature, but the wind was a fierce bitch.  I think Ash’s hair may have taken a bit of a hit, but at least it didn’t knock her in the water.  And it made that dress move the way it was made to.  So Ashley, I’m not really sorry about the hair because sometimes that’s what it takes for the photo you want
